Client Support for SnapDiff API v2

The possibility of using of FlexGroup volume is very necessary for us as supercomputing centre.

First by using of FlexGroup volume is possible excite the 100TB boundary of other kinds of NetApp volumes.
Working backup with SP Client of such volumes is a hard requirement for using of FlexGroup volumes.
Without support of SnapDiff is no backup of large volumes in a reasonable time possible.
Especially for FlexGroup volumes is support of SnapDiff API v2 requirered.

IBM has evaluated the request, and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time or does not align with the current multi-year strategy. For more details, please reach out to your IBM Technical Sales team or Business Partner.
