TSM Admin Center - tip(tivoli integrated portal) does not support firefox 6 and beyond. It needs to support firefox 6 and beyond for currency in our environment.

    Thanks for submitting this enhancement request and please accept my apologies for the very late response, no we do not currently plan to update TIP and Admin Center infrastructure in the upcoming releases, having said that... we do plan to introduce a new user interface that will be both lightweight and support more modern versions of various browsers. please note the statement of direction that was published here: http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/ShowDoc.wss?docURL=/common/ssi/rep_ca/0/760/ENUSJP12-0140/index.html&lang=en&request_locale=en (search for Tivoli Storage Manager)

    RHEL have now moved to Firefox 10.0.3ESR
    As per Security advisory RHSA-2012:0387-1
    https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/errata/details/Details.do?eid=14334
    without this we have to use a non secure browser on a supported OS.

    I would agree here too. The usage of TIP is blocked for Linux environments as soon as the ESR versions are commonly used. And in Linux you don't have an IE to switch back to,...

    Modern Firefox versions would be very helpful. Always switching to a Windows-System with older Explorer just to use TIP is not very helpful.
