Protect Agent Support for Db2 Warehouse/MPP on Scale

For a "role your own" Db2 MPP/Warehouse the Protect client agent is currently not supported or tested. This is available in the Netezza format (appliance). The solution proposal will need this capability.
Need support for the client agent within a Db2 Warehouse/MPP on Scale. Support is requested via Lan Free data transfer

    IBM has evaluated the request, and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time or does not align with the current multi-year strategy. This request may be resubmitted for consideration after 18 months from the date of submission. The request submitter will automatically be notified by email when the request qualifies for reconsideration and resubmission.

    The Db2 Warehouse database can still be protected with Spectrum Protect.This approach is documented here for lan based and lan free backup:

    Please note that LAN free to tape is not supported since Db2 Warehouse is a partitioned database that runs in Docker containers.
