Spectrum Protect Replication Workload

The workload value for the node replication in spectrum protect is based on an estimated value. The complete history of this value is visible when the summary table is filtered for activity='REPL_WORKLOAD'. The last value of repl_workload is also used the Tivoli Operation Center to show the replication workload. In our environment several servers show a 50 to 100% higher replication workload than the total data amount stored in that server. (All figures refer to logical amounts before dedup/compression.) According to IBM software support, this deviation is due to the fact that this workload figure is based on an estimate. See case TS002238997.
In order to be useful, the replication workload must be much more accurate. For this to happen, the replication value should be calculated on actual file sizes instead of an estimated size.

This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.

I would love this as well, perhaps a QUERY REPLSTATUS or similar?

I'v had someservers get stuck saying they had hundreds of terabytes in backlog, and only hundreds of gigs in progress. There seemed to be no way to reset the calculation.
