IBM Exchange Mailbox recovery tool takes a long time open a small mailbox

In our SPP training lab we have 5 DAG's separated on 10 Servers. The DAG consists of 2 dedicated Exchange Servers Each.
When trying to open a Mail Box using the tool after the SPP granular recovery completes. It can take between 15 to 20 minutes to view the mailbox. These mailboxes' are very small. They only have 2 email's in their Inbox.

During the process of opening the mail box I do receive multiple security Certificate messages against the exchange servers within the lab environment. Even against the Exchange servers that are associated with the different DAG's.

I have another environment that only has 1 DAG setup between 2 Exchange Servers. Opening the mailbox in this environment is much faster. I only get one security certificate message, against the other one Exchange server. After I select yes, the mailbox opens rather quickly.

When trying to open the mailbox, does this tool make some sort of query against all Exchange Servers within the domain and try to make a connection to all of them? If so that would explain why it takes so long to open the mailbox in our larger Exchange environment.
