Need support of Power 8/9 Compression HW chip on AIX Client for TSM Client

Hello
we have implemented a new Backup LAN with CISCO ACI Network 40 GBit and made backup over this seperate lan to tsm server
We need to do a compression on the TSM Client side because the TSM Servers has currently not the capabilities to store uncompressed data for any cost internal reason. We found out if we start many parallel sessions in our tests we need up to 18 !!! Power 8 cores on a E880 server and the reason why is that the TSM Client on AIX is not using the Power 8 embedded HW compression chip which is on each Power 8 and 9 server available.
Could you please add this HW support in the TSM Client ?

    IBM has evaluated the request, and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time or does not align with the current multi-year strategy. This request may be resubmitted for consideration after 18 months from the date of submission. The request submitter will automatically be notified by email when the request qualifies for reconsideration and resubmission.

    Hello
    i got some updates from AIX Lab here.
    There is no compression engine support available on P8 chip but for P9.
    AIX is plannig to exploit the P9 gzip engine in a future release.
    So i'm asking Tivoli Spectrum protect to support P9 hw assistes compression on Spectrum Protect server and Client please
    I'm asking for AIX but i think there are also customers who would like to see it also on SLES and RH Linux Server and Client.

    I forgot to say that i would like to have the embedded HW Chip Support on Power 8 and 9 also on Spectrum Protect Server please.
