Azure Archive Tier Blob Tagging

Azure Archive tier is only usable by changing blobs after write. Archive blobs are not readable, but metadata is still there. It's very similar to HSM, with a recall delay of up to 15 hours.

Archive tier has a very low storage cost, and is suitable for data that will probably not be read before it expires, but which needs to be retained for years.

To access it, the blob has to be changed back to cold or hot tier, and wait for recall (rehydration in MS terms).

It would be nice if storage rules could be enacted to change blobs to archive tier under specific circumstances. This would require trying to avoid reading from those blobs (but delete is okay), and would require automatically changing back to default, hot, or cold, and waiting several hours, before being able to read the data.

This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
