INCLUDE.VMDISK improvement

Our policy should be to make an image of only the OS-disk of VM VMWare, with TSM for VE . Making VMbackups of the data-disks with TSM for VE should not be allowed.
For 91% of the VM's (+/-4200 VM's) , the OS disk with SCSI(0:0) is located on “hard disk 1”.
But for 9% of the VM's (+/- 400 VM's) the OS disk with SCSI(0:0) is NOT located on “hard disk1”.
In TSM for VE, there is an option INCLUDE.VMDISK to select the hard disk #, but there is no option available to select the disk with SCSI (x:x).
With this configuration, it's a hard time for us, to be sure that the OS-disk of all VM's is included and all data-disks are excluded.

Request :
An easy way to solve our issue (and also for some other company's), should be to make a backup on SCSI-ID (ex. SCSI(0:0)).
So our question is if it should be possible to put the option in TSM for VE to make a backup based on SCSI-ID (and not only on VMDISK-number) ?
Example : INCLUDE.VMDISK SCSI(0:0)

A possible interim solution available with SP VE 8.1.0 is to take advantage of the Backup Management via Tags feature which makes it easier to set Spectrum Protect backup attributes on individual VMs. The VMware vSphere SP Plugin GUI can be used to find and set the VMware SP tag "Disk Backup List (IBM Spectrum Protect)" to 'Hard Disk 2' on the individual vms where 'Hard Disk 1' is not the system disk.
