Spectrum Protect for VE restore only one disk, default space issue

Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments Restore Issue.

The product design only permits these options when you want to restore only one individual unit like c:

1. If the target guest does not exist yet, space will be assigned on the datastore for all the guest disks even only one is actually restored

2. If the target guest already exists, the step allocating space is skipped as the guests disks already exist and we restore only the intended disk.

So is a big design issue.

    IBM has evaluated the request, and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time or does not align with the current multi-year strategy. This request may be resubmitted for consideration after 18 months from the date of submission. The request submitter will automatically be notified by email when the request qualifies for reconsideration and resubmission.
