This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Tivoli
Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family
Unfortunately we will not be implementing a solution for your suggestion in the next release or two as plans have been made to invest in other strategic focus areas. If after the next release of the product, you would like us to reconsider this request, please submit a new RFE.
Thank you for submitting this enhancement request, while we currently do not plan to provide this function in the next release of TSM, it will be considered for a future release of TSM
A first good thing will be to move nodedata but only the most recent one. What I mean is it would be nice if we can extend the option "type" with "ALLActive" as it is possible in the export command to copy the active data to an faster storage instead to configure a hole active data pool to only restore/retrieve a single node.
