On further review, this RFE is being rejected as the initial install was done on an unsupported platform.
This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
I can't imagine this RFE will remain open for very long, but I have to agree with your sentiment.
In addition, there should be (at the very least) hyperlinks to all the Technotes (of which there are countless, spread across IBM's websites) that are relevant to the particular upgrade. It's tiresome, costly and frustrating to upgrade TSM/SP, have issues, and then be pointed at a Technote that you simply couldn't find.
