This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

As you can see in the PMR we got a big problem with some files on a netapp filer. This files were created by randomly by netapp filer. Problem is that these files have no owner, or other NTFS securitys so an windows RC appears if the BA Client try to interact with them.
For the moment we have excluded from Backup because now we know the files. Problem was that we made a snapdiff backup and the backup stops when these files were reached. You have no chance to skip these files. If you have large backups which have a long run time it is really annoying if the whole backup of an share stops because of 3 files.
Short:
We need the option to skip files which stop the whole backup process if they generate an Windows RC. Also possible is a list where we can enter Windows RC codes which should be ignored during backup.
