This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

During recovery of an Exchange database DP for Exchange GUI automatically configures "AllowFileRestore" flag in Exchange for this database.
This will allow the database to be overwritten.
During recovery user a presented with two dialog windows with static but important information.
We do see that there could be two enhancements here!
1) The two dialog windows with information could be improved since they don't instantly alert the user to what they are trying to communicate.
2) The 2nd one are more important, during the recovery process the Exchange administrator never get the typical question alerting Exchange admin to what he is about to do i.e: "Do you really want to overwrite Exchange Database < DATABASENAMENAME > Yes/No", since recovering the wrong Exchange database could result in an major incident for the customer this should be added.
3) Another possibility would also be to add an option under "Recovery Options" which says "Recovery Database Yes/No", there "No" would be default. If no I set DP for Exchange Gui wouldn't set AllowFileRestore.
