Multiple transfer streams between pools for data from a single node

We use a TSM system where the nodes/clients push data first to disk, then the TSM server migrate the data from disk to tape.
We have several use cases where nodes periodically push data faster than the ~350MB/s that our tape drives (TS1150) can handle.
Currently, TSM can only transfer data between pools using one stream per client/node. Because of this, we can't get data out of the disk pool fast enough, so it fills up, and we can't push any more data until it the server has had some time to migrate data from the disk pool.

In our case, it would help a lot if data from a single client could be streamed to multiple tape drives at the same time, two would be enough for us.

We currently have quite fast tape drives (TS1150), if we would have slower drives this problem would be much worse.
