TDP for Domino on Linux x86 & x86_64

Tivoli Data Protection for Domino does not support Linux on x86 & x86_64 systems after 5.5.3 while Domino supports this platform. When will this platform become supported again for current versions of Tivoli Data Protection?

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

Support of 64-bit Linux (x86-64) has been delivered in the Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail v7.1 release for Data Protection for IBM Domino. Please consult the following note for more specific details on supported levels for this version: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21654362.

Thank you for submitting this enhancement request, TSM for Mail (Data Protection for Domino) utilizes the TSM API which is currently supported only on 64 bit architectures (with the exception of windows where we still support 32 bit).
Please note that the bitness of Data Protection for Domino and the bitness of the Domino Server must be the same, and according to the Domino Server support matrix (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27013072) the 64 bit Domino Server does not currently support a  Linux x86_64 platform.
if you follow the main support page for TSM for Mail (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21219345) you can see that the following options are available:
    - use the latest release of TSM for Mail l support (6.3 - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21567514) for 32 bit Domino Server on Windows or the various 64 bit OS supported by the Domino Server (AIX,  Linux on Z, Windows)
    - for x86 Linux distributions (32 bit) you should use the TSM for Mail 6.1

moving forward we expect to support the x86_64 Linux platforms once Domino Server supports these platforms.

I agree that TDP absolutely needs to be available for all supported versions of Lotus Domino.
