Summary table not getting updated while there was no data transfer

We have backup running daily for the node FITKUL0001. It seems that the data on this server rarely changes. Hence the backup runs successfully and no data is being transferred as there is no need to. So far it is fine for us as it is successful.

To generate the report and check the last backup date we are looking at the summary table. The issue is that this table is not updated when no data has been transferred during a backup (successful or not).
What is the reason behind it? Wouldn't it be possible to have an entry in that table for a successful backup with no data transferred?

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
