Post all TSM Linux application and dbms backup agents into RPM Linux repository

Place all linux-based TSM clients into a standard linux repository, so updates can be performed using standard linux system tools. This repository would need to be publicly accessible, although they can be secured with a login.

IBM has evaluated the request and has determined that it does not align with the current multi-year strategy. Our direction is to build client deployment and update into the Operations Center. When we build it, the goal is to handle all clients, not just BA and API Clients. Hosting client deployment and update in the Operations Center enables the Spectrum Protect administration team to have control of when and how the updates are handled.
