Support for TSM Sysback V6.1 to back up VIO servers

I would like TSM Sysback to be usable for the backup of VIO servers, and not just the virtual AIX clients running on these VIO servers. These VIO servers, which are AIX based, can then have their backups implemented on a nightly basis in the same manner as the AIX clients are handled in our computing environment, and a separate backup strategy using the "backupios"
utility would not be required.

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request, and please accept my apologies for the long time it took us to respond, we do understand the requirement and the rationale behind it but unfortunately we currently do not plan to implement this function, this kind of functionality actually has a dependency on the AIX platform and their implementation of VIO servers. we would advise you to open this requirement agains AIX.
