This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

David, Can you provide some more information regarding the reason you are restoring a SQL database backup to a different server? Is this something you do regularly e.g. to accomplish database cloning?
Also, do you have a preference if we address this requirement by adding a separate line to the output providing the object name as follows:
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases:
Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server
Version 6, Release 3, Level 0.0
(C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1997, 2011. All rights reserved.
Connecting to SQL Server, please wait...
Starting SQL database backup...
Connecting to TSM Server as node 'SAGAN_SQL'...
Beginning full backup for database testdb, 1 of 1.
Full: 0 Read: 2186816 Written: 2186816 Rate: 700.18 Kb/Sec
Backup of testdb completed successfully.
Database Object Name ..................... 20111130123150\00000C4C
Or if we append the object name to the completion message for each database like this
Backup of testdb completed successfully. (objectname=20111130123150\00000C4C)
Thanks,
