Obtaining SnapDiff backup base snapshot name

When running an incremental SnapDiff backup on NetApp volumes from the BA client, a differential snapshot is created on the NetApp in the beginning of each backup, and compared with the base snapshot remained from the previous backup. On the end of each backup, the base snapshot remained from the previous backup is deleted, and the diff snapshot created during the current backup is kept and used as the base snapshot for the next backup. The name of the remained snapshot is registered in TSM. Sometimes, when a SnapDiff backup fails, the diff snapshot created by the backup is not deleted, and remains until manually deleted. If I want to manually delete the remained snapshot, I need to know its name. The answer I got from IBM's support is there is currently no way to know which of the snapshots existing on the NetApp is the one registered in TSM (except maybe using tracing, which requires actually running a backup). A way should be provided to obtain the name of the snapshot registered in TSM (the one that will be used as the base snapshot on the next backup).
