RELATED IDEAS

Teradata Data Stream Architecture (DSA) support

Today they backup with TSM Teradata with BAR and would like to start using TSM with DSA. So they can use the new and enhanced alternative, and an eventual replacement to the legacy ARC-based BAR architecture that will triple backup performance and reap significant improvements in scalability, usability, and security.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.

    IBM recommends contacting Teradata to levy this request since they provide the agent to back up to Spectrum Protect (TSM.)
