TSM should support the shared tapedrive feature of TS3500

TSM 7.1 on AIX 7.1 with TS3500 tape library. ANR8300E I/O error on Ts3500 tape library OP=(00006c03).
I have 4 E07 tape drives in this physical library
I have 2 logical libraries with the robotics and one tape drive
assigned to each library, and the other two tape drives shared between the two logical libraries.

We have a similar problem with NDMP backups where if a tapedrive gets dismounted from an NDMP backup, It sometimes gets a tape mounted for another process, and then TSM tries to mount the next NDMP backup tape on that same drive, even though it should know it is busy.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

sharing tape drives between two logical libraries in the physical library is supported In TS3500. If I try to exploit that feature in TSM, using a single TSM server, it doesn't work. TSM does not seem to understand that a tape Device which has a DISTINCT NAME is the same device in two different libraries. TSM will try to use that tape drive in the other library and get I/O errors.

I would Like TSM to realize that a tape drive name is distinct across the TSM server implementation, and not try use that device when it is busy. I believe that would allow the tape drive sharing to work properly.
