Occupancy or Auditocc improvement

Is it possible to efficiently add the ability of TSM to record the current ACTIVE (post-backup of a node) data by either:
1) Add the a process to update the AUDITOCC - BACKUP_ACTIVE_MB field.
2) Add a field to OCCUPANCY table to record the current ACTIVE DATA
3) Add another Table (example NODEACTIVE) to collect that statistics / metrics data for current ACTIVE DATA (size, file numbers, etc).
4) Add a new Table to hold a copy of the ACTIVE DATA contents of all registered nodes. This increases the DB2 size but can speed up recovery operations, copy ops, and queries while preventing deadlocks on the existing and BACKUP and CONTENT tables.

This request has been delivered into a previously released version of the product, or imminently in the next available release.
“SELECT ... FROM BACKUPS WHERE STATE=’ACTIVE’”
The “ACTUAL_SIZE” field is the logical size of the object stored on the server.
So the total active data for a node could be calculated using:
“SELECT SUM(ACTUAL_SIZE)... FROM BACKUPS WHERE STATE like ’ACTIVE$’ and NODE=’XYZ’”

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family
