Archive option for TSM for VE long term

Hi
to keeping Long-term data retention with Virtual Machine, the listed solution is recomended from IBM.

However this solution has caveats such as not capable to expire exports very long run times not feasible if there are 500VM and all vms requires long term backups , not capable to set different retentions , not manageable if there are lack of drives or large vms.
It is also concern two phase restore process when there is restore requires you modify existing DC node name ; import a large vm which overlap with backup window and all backups fail also after import you do the restore. Is it possible to redirect backups a ARCHIVE copy group and archive object and instead of backup object.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.

    Until there is a completely integrated solution, desides export, you could alternatively use a different nodename with a different schedule and bind those specific backups to management classes with different retentions.
