TSM's snmp subagent should be supported on Linux directly

Alerting and monitoring via Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus (from the ITNM suite) should integrate with TSM server running on Linux directly, but it currently does not. TSM's SNMP subagent requires an extension SNMP-DPI, which only exists on AIX. This requires an AIX system be installed to forward traps into our Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus system. Currently we monitor via custom shell scripts and email, but would like to leverage our investment in ITNM to manage this more cleanly.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
