TSM UPGRADE TO 7.1 CAUSES CLIENTS PASSWORD TO BE INVALID AND BACKUPS ARE NO LONGER POSSIBLE UNTIL AGENT IS RECYCLED!!

We upgraded to TSM 7.1 on yesterday in our smallest TSM environment. However, we experienced one hiccup that is extremely alarming. As clients connect to the TSM server after the upgrade, they are unable to communicate with the TSM server because “invalid password submitted”. Yes, we have a workaround but it is a lot of work to recycle over 400 to 700 nodes after upgrade in order to resolve this issue. My question to you is, Can we escalate this up and see if there are any fixes that are coming that will resolve this issue in TSM 7.1? ? I would like to escalate this up because when you consider large shops such as our organization we need to consider a global fix within TSM 7.1.1 to avoid customers having to recycle clients via script or manually. We must consider the bigger picture which is ensuring the customers continues to have reliable TSM installations or upgrades that do not require customers with large shops to have to touch that many clients after an upgrade.
