TSM Fastback support for MSSQL 2012

MEGA BANK had purchased TSM and FastBack around three year ago.
The main reason MEGA chose IBM solution was due to the integrated between TSM & FastBack. This is IBM value proposition.

Currently, latest FastBack version still can't support SQL 2012.
But MEGA Bank had migrated their DB to SQL 2012. Which mean they are urgent to find a solution for DB backup.

We had discuss the possibility with CTP to replace FastBack and use TSM to backup SQL 2012.
But my concern is this move will lead this project into an open tender. Also IBM have no strong value proposition to MEGA Bank.

Look for 2Q to release SQL 2012 support on TSM Fastback.

    Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 been delivered in v6.1.10. Please refer to this document for specific Windows OS versions where it is supported: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21676477
