Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

Thank you for submitting this request. Just for the sake of clarity, we want to make sure that it is understood that the occupancy queries against the TSM database are intended to reflect on how much is being consumed in the TSM storage pools. Presently there is the ability to get a count of objects for a node by using a select command like "select count(*) from backups where node_name='xxxx'." This can be run via the TSM administrative client and is part of the querying capabilities that are provided via the TSM administrative interfaces.

Will these options meet your use case and business needs? If not, please provide more specifics of how this is still a pain point so we can better understand the problem you would like us to solve.
