Provide description of "Indexing new scan data" on Spectrum Discover web UI

We can see "Indexing new scan data" in the web interface under Data Connections -> Scan history.

Some scans show "Indexing new scan data" for days and we don't see any progress. Is it possible to display all steps ("Scanning NFS mount", "Indexing new scan data", ...) so we as the end user know which steps are completed and which are still open. For example:


  1. Scanning NFs mount

  2. Indexing new scan data <- highlight current state

  3. ??

  4. ???

  5. Complete
