RELATED IDEAS

Request to develop VSC ability to blacklist SVC ports when automatic zoning. Prevent usage of SVC internode ports.

VSC is not able to restrict zoning for SVC ports dedicated for internode communication.
The reason of this request is to ask IBM to develop some blacklist option for VSC automatic zoning in order to block the use of some selected SVC ports.

    Thank you all for your interest in this function. Over the last year or two the industry has changed and we have received different requests for providing help in automating the provisioning of volumes for example using Ansible or similar aproaches. Therefore we have decided to reject this RFE and focus the work on other items
