Spectrum Control integration into VMware

Hi Team

We are looking for a permanent solution to an issue that we are having at a customer below.

Our customer is looking for deep integration between Spectrum Control Advanced Edition/VSC and VMware.
Currently, Spectrum Control probes VMware once a day. The issue with this is that our client has a large VMware environment and makes use of vMotion.

So when they run their Cognos Reports it is never consistent in terms of the data that they are receiving from VMware as this changes on a daily basis.

The client is a MSP and so require these reports to be produced and sent to their own clients to detail how much data their are consuming from a VMware perspective.

We are looking for a permanent solution to ensure that these reports are more consistent and better aligned to VMware.

We need the development team to rewrite the Spectrum Control hypervisor code to make use of VMware's REST API.
This would make the probes much more efficient and fully support features such as clusters, VMDK, snapshots etc...

We do need the functionality urgently because this would mean that Spectrum Control would be application aware and no manual intervention would ever be necessary.
