Storage Device hierarchy - Virtualizer vs Storage devices

Spectrum Control must provide a hierarchical view of storage devices to show dependencies between backend devices and storage virtualisers such as Spectrum Virtualise or Scale.
Today all are considered Storage devices and presented through a flat view.
However once backend system is set up an presented through Spectrum Virtualise, day to day task, capacity management are focused on the virtualiser, not the backend device.

Spectrum Control already provides different ways of showing this information today, for example in the data path view of the SVC and don't forget the Related resources view in the details panel for the SVC. Both can be used for a Flash System as well. Another way would be to go to the list of all storage systems and simply use the filter in the top right hand part of the screen to see only storage systems starting where the name includes "SVC". Next they could drill down to the SVC they are interested in to see the back end systems related to that SVC. Have you used these functions, and think there are not adequate for what you are trying to achieve? Please provide feedback so that I better understand what the this function is trying to solve.
