Tooling for updating device login credentials from outside Spectrum Control

I need a method for programmatic management of the login credentials of devices managed by Spectrum Control. Security best practice requires that the passwords/keys are regularly changed.
changing through the GUI for even a moderate number of devices is very laborious and still means that the operator making the change knows the new credentials.
