    Diamondback does not feet to all customers needs, having Glacier API also supported with Storage scale would be very useful

    I see an increasing interest at customers in having Glacier API support for Storage Scale. Yes we have deep archive on Diamondback.

    But what about customers already having TS4500 with classical ILM with Storage Archive, or projects requiring more tape capacity, more resiliency, more throughput than a Diamondback can provide ? Or customers willing to mix POSIX, NFS, S3, S3 Glacier usages on a single solution ?

    Don't be late in considering these aspects. Especially as we already have Deep Archive available...

    Thank you for submitting this Storage Scale enhancement request. We have reviewed the request, and although it is a good candidate, it is not on our roadmap for the foreseeable future.

    For tiering to tape of data in Storage Scale, we support ILM to tape using Storage Archive and Storage Protect Space Management (HSM).

    For a deep archive supporting S3 Glacier, we have IBM Diamondback tape library in our portfolio.
