An option to disable unmount mount for bulk selective recalls using multiple file lists from the same tape.

If you do bulk selective recalls, with multiple file lists coming from the same tape, storage archive unmounts the tape after finishing the list. After starting the new list, the same tape is mounted again. This causes massive delays mounting and locating the files on tape again and it slows down the process. Just like with transparent recalls you would expect it to keep the tapes mounted.
If this is as designed, I would like to have a switch to keep the tapes mounted after finishing the tape list.

I really would like to do that, but at the moment we are in a migration project for this system, so it is a bit difficult to recreate this issue. We now creat much bigger filelistst to overcome the issue. As soon as we have the time we will recreate the issue and create a ticket with the logfiles.
