Reduce the requirements for Microsoft Exchange

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Some other backup solutions doesn't need the whole admin rights for Exchange.

Example VEEAM: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/required_permissions.html?zoom_highlight=exchange&ver=120

Commvault: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.38/expert/user_account_requirements_for_exchange_server_agents.html

Even SPP: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spp/10.1.16?topic=server-privileges

Mostly this rights are enough:

The Exchange agents require a user account that has Exchange administrator privileges to:

  • Perform backups and restores
  • Log on to the related server to access the data

It should be avoided to request the Organization Management group for backup purposes if only the databases should be backed up, not single mailbox restores.
