This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

IBM Storage Defender includes Sensors that are invented by IBM Research and are first active AI-backed threat detection against malware filesystem activity tye of sensors in market. The additional file-level ransomware active threat detection provided by these sensors is a very big selling point for Storage Defender.
However, the list of supported OS's for these sensors is very limited, and as such largely negates that value of the sensors. Adding compatibility of these sensors with very widely-deployed OS's would greatly enhance their value, and thereby the overall value of Storage Defender.
Please add Storage Defender Sensor support for these very widely-deployed Operating Systems:
Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Red-Hat Enterprise Linux 8
(NOTE, at current time, removing Server 2016 from this request would be acceptable.)
