Improve support for remote CES Protocol Clusters sharing only NFS exports, to support access to the same remote filesystem concurrently

The customer currently has more than. 32000 nfs exports across 5000 paths,  which takes a significant amount of time to perform an export definition refresh (any time a new export is added) this generally in excess of 5 minutes for the export definitions to propagate.  This is starting to cause issues with the client side environment every time an export definition refresh is implemented.

The customer would like to be able to separate out the export definitions across multiple CES NFS protocol clusters (2-5) so that they can reduce the amount of time that any set of exports is impacted by an export definition update.

This requires support for the CES remote protocol clusters to concurrently access the same home / root filesystem in the storage cluster.  This is something that is not currently support and is causing a roadblock to improving the customer user experience.

Thank you for submitting this Spectrum Scale enhancement request. We have reviewed the request, and although it is a good candidate, it is not on our roadmap for the foreseeable future.
