This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Spectrum Scale is capable of sending webhooks to recipients. These hooks contain information about events and such. According to Scale’s documentation, this is the json payload of such hooks: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spectrum-scale/5.1.5?topic=command-webhook-json-data
The json payload has a field called events which is an array of events - "events": [ {…}, {…}, {…} ] - so, basically one hook message may contain an array of various events.
Some tools such as Netcool are capable of receiving these hooks and automatically creating event tickets in service platforms. However, some of these tools, such as Netcool, can’t understand the json array of elements as the message arrives with the events array field indexed by the array number (example: events.0.cause=xxxx, events.0.code=xxx, events.1.cause=yyy, events.1.code=yyy), and therefore can’t parse the message.
This RFE requests the Scale webhook mechanism to have a way to configure itself to send only one event per hook message instead of an array of elements. So, instead of sending multiple events in a single message, Scale would send as many individual messages as there are events for. This would facilitate the integration and consumption of Scale webhooks by recipient monitoring software such as Netcool.
