This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Currently mmhealth node show can report the node as healthy while there are problems elsewhere in the cluster, e.g. in the filesystem component:
# mmhealth node show
Node name: somenode.somedomain
Node status: HEALTHY
Status Change: 13 days ago
Component Status Status Change Reasons & Notices
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FILESYSMGR HEALTHY 27 days ago -
GPFS HEALTHY 13 days ago -
NETWORK HEALTHY 27 days ago -
FILESYSTEM DEGRADED 27 days ago ill_unbalanced_fs(fs1, fs2, fs3)
DISK HEALTHY 27 days ago -
GUI HEALTHY 27 days ago [gui_login_attempt_failed]
LOCALCACHE TIPS 27 days ago lroc_sensors_inactive, lroc_set_buffer_desc_tip
PERFMON HEALTHY 27 days ago -
THRESHOLD HEALTHY 27 days ago -
Using the machine-readable output you get a degraded state for the node which is quite confusing:
...
mmhealth:State:0:1:::somenode.somedomain:FILESYSTEM:somenode.somedomain:NODE:DEGRADED:2022-02-22 14%3A29%3A54.746091 CET:
...
So the "node show" does not only show node data but also cluster data. Therefore an additional line below "Node status:" called Cluster status:" would be helpful, reporting DEGRADED in this situation.
