IBM Spectrum Scale CNSA & OpenShift w/two network adapters

Client has existing big Spectrum Scale infrastructure (not-containerized) with hundreds clients connected from different environments. Spectrum Scale is using dedicated not routed VLAN for daemon-interface network following IBM best practice. There is request to connect OpenShift cluster to same existing Spectrum Scale and only possibility is to use two network adapters inside OpenShift. Customer needs CSNA to pick up one of adapters as daemon-network interface. It is technically possible, but not officially supported. Setup is as follows: Spectrum Scale CNSA configured as remote GPFS server to „AIX and RHEL“ GPFS cluster.

    Thank you for submitting this Spectrum Scale enhancement request. We have identified this RFE as a duplicate on GPFS - I - 809 which is currently being reviewed, therefore we are closing this RFE.
