AFM Azure Blob direct support

For data exchange, data access from multiple sites and also access of data from within Azure we would like to use Spectrum Scale AFM connected to a Azure blob similar as connected to S3 storage.

Currently this will require a S3 / Azure converter like e.g. minio.

But that does mean extra processes, extra delay, extra monitoring, a higher configuration effort and also availability is lower.


So I would like to ask you to implement Azure blob direct support into AFM.

    MS Azure Blob support would be good and important as most customers have a strong Azure Cloud strategy in place.

    I completely support this request. We are currently using minio azure gateway, but this will removed from minio repository on 1st of June. https://blog.min.io/deprecation-of-the-minio-gateway/

    A direct Azure blob support for AFM would be great, in order not to have any further dependencies on third-party providers.
