Time Machine over SMB

Since the last OSX release, Apple has deprecated they're "AFP" protocol and want to use SMB for everything, TimeMachine included.
In order to have a SMB share working with TimeMachine, it need to complain some specs.

Would be very nice if IBM implemented these specs in CES, on order to be able to use simply a SMB share as TimeMachine network disk, without the complexity we have today.

    Time Machine support depends on durable filehandles and leases which we will not support in the foreseeable future.

    We are currently working on vfs_fruit SAMBA support in CES. Once that is delivered, Time Machine should be one of our test cases.
