Eliminate manual recompiles of gpfs.gplbin due to kernel changes

It should not be necessary for customers to manually recompile gpfs.gplbin every time the kernel is updated. Two possible approaches seem to be:

* kmod, which would remove the need to recompile the module as long as the kABI remains stable. kABI-tracking kmod driver will work across all kernels for a given Enterprise Linux distribution

* dkms, which will automatically recompile as needed without manual intervention

    There's a configuration switch called autoBuildGPL that will trigger a recompile at startup if necessary.
