SpectrumScale should be able to natively mount at any point in the name space of a filesystem using GPFS client

GPFS/SpectrumScale using the native GPFS client cannot mount at any location in a filesystem in a multi-tenanted environment in any way other than at the root level, exposing the entire filesystem to a client. GPFS should ideally offer the ability to mount a filesystem inside the native GPFS client target host at /any/point/in/the/filesystem.

This way, true multi-tenancy would be effectively available, segregating the need to use ACL's and other more weakly-typed mechanisms to prevent unauthorised access /below/certain/mount/points.

Currently, GPFS only offers / level mounting of the native client.

Database cleanup of older RFEs not currently in plan. Please submit a new RFE if this enhancement is still required.
