Support for the GPFS Hadoop API and it's extended attivutes to be included/supported in a normal GPFS Shared disk environment without the need for a bunch of servers with local disks. and without requiring a special GPFS-FPO code load.

This includes enabling support for other open source Hadoop solutions including HortonWorks and Cloudera.

This includes support for generic GPFS deployments, GPFS Storage Server for System x, and future GPFS Storage servers utilizing IBM servers.

    GPFS Hadoop connector code is currently available at GitHub (https://github.com/ibmgpfs/GPFSHadoopConnector). Does that help?
