Support for a rsyslog server was added to the DS8880 in R8.1 in 2016 and has been enhanced with further messages and capabilities in subsequent releases. Information about enabling the rsyslog capability can be found here : https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ST5GLJ_8.3.3/com.ibm.storage.ssic.help.doc/f2c_syslog_config.html
