Dual Control for DS8900F

Given that the EOS for the DS8900F is not expected to be available until late 2030, many field installations of this generation will be around until then and beyond. And as the threat of cyberattacks is on the rise, it would be beneficial for IBM customers to equip the DS8900F with Dual Control.

    After careful review by our technical and product management teams, we regret to inform you that this request has been declined.
    This request is not aligned with the DS8900 (Release 9) product roadmap. Current development efforts are focused on newer platform generations, where advanced security capabilities, including dual control, are being enhanced.
    We recommend evaluating these newer platforms to address this requirement.
