DS8000 extensive FlashCopy in a MTMM / GDPS environment

Customer has Mainframe with GDPS and MTMM running in his environment.
They want to use their LinuxOne system (Linux ion z hardware) for DB2 Datawarehouse and also want to integrate this environment into the GDPS construct. (LinuxOne with eCKD Volumes)

As of today the Preserve Mirror of the RPFC (Remote Pair FlashCopy) in a MTMM environment is supported only on one of the two legs.

If a FlashCopy is established where the target volume is a PPRC primary, the PREFERRED RPFC leg will remain HyperSwap enabled, while the other leg will be HS disabled because of the PAIR PENDING FC status, until the background copy is complete and all the tracks mirrored on the PPRC links.
This is not a GDPS limitation, but a DS8K µcode restriction.

Moving the full environment from a two legs MTMM to a single leg MM would be a solution because of one leg going disabled.

So we'd like to ask if this µcode restriction will be removed one day, so we opened this RFE
