Support for Hyperswap - Linux on Z.

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Hello Development and Product management teams.

I would like to suggest an enhancement to the DS8000 related to the high availability solution, Hyperswap.

We are seeing an increasing number of customers adopting Linux on Z, and one of these customers is Sicoob, one of the largest users of this type of solution/platform.

These customers also use DS8000 storage, and it is more advantageous for them to remain on this platform for Linux on Z for several reasons. However, this can present challenges. When comparing storage for zOS with storage for Linux on Z, we currently cannot offer our customers an active-active solution based on IBM Hyperswap, as we do for zOS.

Therefore, I suggest an improvement in this direction.

Would it be possible to evaluate the implementation of Hyperswap for Linux? Mainly for Linux on Z.

I appreciate your attention in advance.
